Arman Salem is the 2026 Lucille Medwick Award winner from the Poetry Society of America.

Alongside Kaveh Akbar, he is at work on a book of translation focused on the 8th-century Islamic mystic Rabi’a al-'Adawiyya, forthcoming Spring 2028 from Modern Library.

He is the Managing Editor for Barrow Street Press, and his work can be found in Ploughshares, Kenyon Review, and elsewhere.
